Chennai MTC buses - 2019
Tamil Nadu, Chennai MTC buses henceforth no need to drawn into comparison with the private buses in terms of look, especially in the night time. Even SETC and Mofussil buses too...Watch out these buses in the night time, with red static LED display texts as static and the white rolling LED display texts for the via routes...absolutely amazing. LED lights certainly given new lease of life to government buses, and though it is late to embrace it, this is like better now than later...
With two full length strips of LED light arrays giving light in the inside, watch out for the mudguard lights in the front and rear tyres, and also the steps got illuminated with the LED lights, and how about the sears reserved for the special persons with much more spacious than the previous buses. It is like follow standards, ensure it and maintain to give better services.
Definitely now the MTC buses are worth to travel in cities, and the pitty is still people are travelling in private means who are ready to pay hefty fines after the new motor transport act.
It is like street lights in the roads are not needed, but one or two running MTC buses are enough to get illumination in the streets. Sheer enthralling.
Unfortunately no government sectors has been putting this in forefront and it is like a new division has to be created in the MTC wing like marketing and advertisement to reach the masses with these features. If it does so, sure the collections will surge. Implementing BRTS in cities in select areas and running it successfully to reduce the journey time will be a great acheivement, and instead of talking or giving news in page 2 of timesofindia newspaper, would like to see the implementation of it in near future.
