It is unavoidable these days that everyone is pouring advice to vijay throughall options like print media and electronic media. It is similar like a school student when scores less mark getting adviced by the teacher, parents, friends, relatives and whoever he crosses. As if the perception is, the fault is on student. In each criticism, no one undermined the talent of vijay but everyone requests him to change his way of acting. But he is an "actor", the same actor who acted in good and unforgettablehits. So asusual, no one is assessing why the student scored less marks?Is it because of the question paper, his preparedness, the evaluation, his situation - no change in thinking perspective. What he can do if a producer is ready to pay him and asks to feature in his movie? Or the director or say any friend - if he shouldnt have accepted villu, kuruvi, vettaikaran, sura.. there will be some big gap for almost 2 years, if he would have waited for so called good story or for acting with changed make-up. Check the directors or producers orthe production house behind those names, like the criticising people compares with 4th generation actors, no one would have missed thoseopportunities. He didnt changed his hair style or costumes in kadhalukkumariayathai, poove unakkaga, pokkiri and other hit films. He remained same. And allow us you to wonder, why these questions are posed now and why not then? Comparing 3rd or 4th generation actors to Vijay is not at all fair. Take their hit lists and analyse, take their confidence in theirfilms everyone is dependent on someone like again the criticizing personsask why not vijay acting with big directors? Vijay was moulded with variety of directors. He doesnt depend on any star director to get a break like most 4th generation actors are yearning. Except one or two most directors are taking autobiographies of their lifes in their first few films and for their storyline Vijay definitely wont suit. Actors will definitely know what they are doing and they are very conscious about it. They are seeing their competitors, they have their plans. He achieved more in his career than he expected rather the people expected.A commercial film will hit soon with Vijay where everyone will praise him again for wonderful performance. He dont need introspection or self-realisation or to rethink his strategy. He needs his some commitmentsor say earlier commitments to get settled. He will get an offer which satisfies him and all very soon. You are there, We are right behind you, looking forward your next films soon.

Complex pain relief surgery performed at private hospital

Source: The Hindu, Chennai edition, June 2022 The patient was suffering from a brachial plexus injury Doctors at Kauvery Hospital here have performed a complex spinal surgery to relive the excruciating pain in the limbs of a 24-year-old man suffering from brachial plexus injury. A release from the hospital said the youngster met with a road accident three years ago, which resulted in an injury to the brachial plexus, a network of nerves responsible for carrying signals from the spinal cord to the shoulders and arms. G. Balamurali , consultant spine and neurosurgeon at the hospital, said when a person suffered damages to the brachial plexus, it would cause extreme pain and weakness of the limbs. “The pain experienced is so severe that some patients want their limbs removed,” he said. 55-year-old man undergoes aortic valve replacement

Source: The Hindu , Chennai edition,  FRIDAY JULY 22, 2022   A 55-year-old man, who had underdeveloped limbs and was born with a single kidney, underwent an aortic valve replacement surgery at MadrasMedical Mission (MMM) . Doctors decided against Transcatheter Aortic ValveImplantation (TAVI) considering the risks involved due to his multiple co-morbidities and opted for surgical replacement with a tissue valve. The patient has deformities in his left upper and lower limbs due to a condition called phocomelia , where the limbs are underdeveloped. This deformity was the side effect of the drug Thalidomide given for morning sickness during pregnancy in the 1950s and 1960s. He was born with a single kidney and has had episodes of pancreatitis for which stents were placed, a press release said.
