Electronic Media and its Right to Expression
I was mostly depressed when i go for something and if it is ignored. Mostly when my suggestions, words, ideas etc., You can wonder that this is a common and general feeling for all of us. True... Nowadays, the media, in particular the electronic media gives freedom or right to express for all, especially like the person of my kind. I posted some of my thoughts in the competition once for a tamil film weekly magazine called "Ananda vikatan" it was totally ignored. I remember, if i am not wrong the year was 2002 or might be in between 1995-99. It was about giving fresh ideas. I posted in the name of my friend, ofcourse then the eligible applicants are only college students. Some of my thoughts i still remember are:
1. Running the cable network by the municipal corporations for each town and city or any local civic government body controlling that area.
2. Printing the important emergency telephone numbers of that region behind the bus tickets.
3. Promoting the government servants based on the feedback from the applicants who they processed or in other words if a government servant A is going to be promoted, then the higher authority or the responsible person should collect feedback from the person 1, 2, 3 etc., These persons are the ones who went for any kind of information, processing, or any procedures with A. So if A is rude and corrupted, naturally he/she will face negative factors in their promotion and if they are polite and real government servants, then they will get promoted. This will increase the transparency and moreover increase the goodwillness among the people and among the co-government servants. Moreover, this needs to be analysed before getting into real time practise.
And so why i am writing this now, i recently saw a criticism about Actor Vijay who is the leading hero in Tamil film industry in South Indian cinema. I too wanted to post some of my comments and then i waited for few days. Oops! as i expected it was not updated. So why i should keep waiting to see my writings, i have blog and i can post. As long as i am confident that i am not posting anything which demoralize others, i can keep posting.
