Die Another Day

Case 1:
A party leader is expelled from that party and to show that they are supporting the leader, few persons went for self immolation. Later, that party leader joined hands with the same party.

Case 2:
A person self immolated because of the plight of Sri Lankan minorities and also for a rebel leader to criticize the government “inactiveness”. This was news then. Consider the situation now. The declared war came to an end and the rebel leader is killed.

Case 3:
A publication office was attacked and few people lost their lives. This is due to a survey which rated the popularity of who can become the next CM of Tamil Nadu. It has become news for TN since the family involved was high profile. Now the situation is well known that both parties are Member of Parliament. So it is clear in near future he is not going to be next CM.

Analysis 1:
The fault is definitely on the party cadre. He should have known about his mentor. Till date this leader was not achieved a significant role in TN politics. It is the depression factor in the party cadre which led him to give up his life.

Analysis 2:
This is not his fault. If a conflict is between two countries it is the role of their leaders to take of the crisis and not by the people. Though the minorities are tamilians, they are living in another country. What we can ensure is that those who are minorities in TN or in India should not face or treated like those in Sri Lanka. The worst is he works for a magazine. Did he heard anyone who did such things in Arab countries when Gujarat riot was taken place? It is upto the Indian government and the claws of law already holded them tightly like a slow poison. The war was declared as victory and the reason for which he lost the life is seemed to be a strange thing, now. The fault here is he was not aware of international affairs.

Analysis 3:
It is the circumstances and the fault is on no one. A provoked mob attacked the office to show their loyalty. We should not question about the role of restoration of law and order in that situation. The employees were trapped and lost their lives. Neither the mob shown mercy to the persons who worked in the office nor they regret for their act. No conclusion on whose fault is this.

Three cases with analysis, so what this shows?
Do not think past, live with the present and think about the future.
Don’t think negative, think positive.
There is a phrase in Tamil language, that we should not talk about or criticize the persons who are dead. We should follow that strictly.
