Tambaram to Perungalathur

In tambaram bus stand, outside the railway station, i boarded my bus which is last service to thirukkalukundram by 11:30 pm. The bus is already running late, which is expected to come by 10:30 pm.
It was understood that due to traffic between guiindy and cmbt, this will happen. But what happened next?

i reached perungalathur at 12.20 am. 40 mins to reach less than 4 kms. Then i was at home by 1:10 am in thirukkalukundram to watch the champions league semifinal between chelsea and athletico madrid.

What was the stress felt by the driver, and ofcourse the passengers?

In this blog i already recorded few happenings like this, an alternative way to change some bus stops either govenment buses or omni buses to guduvanchery bus stand, which was scarcely used after 9 pm.

It is better that after 9 pm the state government can give order to the transport corporation to stop all its mofussil bus services to enable omni buses to ride smoothly. Either you live or i live, it is not that you and me together to starve for living and to fight for living.

There were sudden increase in omni buses/private buses during this weekends who were tapping the passengers for holidays and why it happens so?

Out of this buses, how many were running as per the rules, like route permit, etc.,?

And ofcourse, we have district administration, assembly member, transport officials, police officials, who were there .....

But this story is continuous.

So if you cant able to change the system, better you avoid it.

Means, dont take travel from tambaram to perungalathur after 8.30 pm on weekends or the day before holidays or clubbing.

Complex pain relief surgery performed at private hospital

Source: The Hindu, Chennai edition, June 2022 The patient was suffering from a brachial plexus injury Doctors at Kauvery Hospital here have performed a complex spinal surgery to relive the excruciating pain in the limbs of a 24-year-old man suffering from brachial plexus injury. A release from the hospital said the youngster met with a road accident three years ago, which resulted in an injury to the brachial plexus, a network of nerves responsible for carrying signals from the spinal cord to the shoulders and arms. G. Balamurali , consultant spine and neurosurgeon at the hospital, said when a person suffered damages to the brachial plexus, it would cause extreme pain and weakness of the limbs. “The pain experienced is so severe that some patients want their limbs removed,” he said. 55-year-old man undergoes aortic valve replacement

Source: The Hindu , Chennai edition,  FRIDAY JULY 22, 2022   A 55-year-old man, who had underdeveloped limbs and was born with a single kidney, underwent an aortic valve replacement surgery at MadrasMedical Mission (MMM) . Doctors decided against Transcatheter Aortic ValveImplantation (TAVI) considering the risks involved due to his multiple co-morbidities and opted for surgical replacement with a tissue valve. The patient has deformities in his left upper and lower limbs due to a condition called phocomelia , where the limbs are underdeveloped. This deformity was the side effect of the drug Thalidomide given for morning sickness during pregnancy in the 1950s and 1960s. He was born with a single kidney and has had episodes of pancreatitis for which stents were placed, a press release said.
