A self-advertising tool called social media

Sometimes you wonder what these people are glued to their mobile phones during their bus journey/train journey, anywhere and everywhere..checking whatsapp, facebook, twitter, etc., whether they are activity posting or not but they are actively and keenly seeing their mobiles swiping from bottom to top without any symptoms of boring or tiredness...

It is very much frustrating to see resources who were allotted to perform some tasks in between their works to see their mobiles, as usual social networking....what it gives to them...are they updating information, i mean their knowledge, or time passing? It certainly affects the productivity in work place and cause stress and imbalance in workplace....

Recently, Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, given notable comment regarding this concern. "Use social media for public welfare not for self praise" and he had given examples regarding this. It is thinkable that what made him to give such request or statement regarding this. May be was he affected with this practices within his work place?

But the good thing, is it came as a headlines in most newspapers and some people might relate the situation and they would have re-thought how it affects them too?

Few only know that this cant be uprooted at first stroke, but can be reduced drastically if tough measures has been put in place.
