1. Few colleges benefitted with sure inflow of other state students year by year, who doesnt mind of money but to get the graduation as an aim. These led to many situations. A sudden increase in real estate business and the apartments where quickly booked and were rented for the other state students. Those who didnt fair well on the studies took on the job of brokers to get the student admitted in colleges which led to many disputes, worse ending some in murders.

2. It created employment for lecturers but the quality of lecturers were not sure, since many of them havent passed the NET exams, which in turn produced less quality in teaching.

3. Bank loans were made available to the students those are aspiring for engineering degrees easily as education loan. And almost all parents utilized this which is like temporary relief for financing their son/daughter's studies. Where if no post graduation was done or if they left unemployed....it added stress and more debts mounted to the families. Ofcourse, employment is the only cure for a graduate in the family happiness.

4. As lot of engineering graduates passed out which is very much disproportionate to that of the arts & science college graduate, marriage is not an easy task for the arts and science college graduates though they were well settled with salary. Worse even the post graduate students in arts and science discipline also affected with the lack of knowledge that B.E is still an undergraduate degree and M.A/M.Sc/M.Com is a post graduate degree.

5. Ofcourse, the founders of few engineering colleges become more wealthier than wealthier and got the ire of some politicians and were in the receiving end to tackle with IT raids. They started newspapers, TV channels, magazines etc.,

6. Of all, ending up in some BPO job or other jobs which were not totally related to their discipline, for monthly salaries is the worst the engineering student facing today or in future too.

7. As B.E 4 years itself studied in educational loan, many students or parents doesnt want to take post graduation in engineering or should we say they are not skill enough to take it up, which leads to poor turn outs in engineering post graduation.
